What is GeraOS?↓
A unified workspace — mail, calendar, files, chat, and an AI agent runtime — where your assistants work alongside you under your control. It is the operating layer between you and your tools.
Is GeraOS a replacement for my current tools?↓
It can be — or it can sit on top of them. GeraOS connects to your existing Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Dropbox, Notion, etc. via open standards, so you keep what works.
Which AI models does it use?↓
Any major model — OpenAI GPT-4, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Mistral, plus on-device models. Pick per task or set defaults. Bring your own API key if you prefer.
Can I run my own agents?↓
Yes. Agents are typed workflows you can write in code or compose visually. They run sandboxed with rate limits and auditable I/O.
Is my data private?↓
Yes. Your data stays in your workspace, encrypted at rest, EU region by default. No advertising, no data sale, no model training on your content unless you explicitly opt in.
Can I export everything?↓
Yes. Standard formats — mbox, ics, vcard, files. One click and your full workspace is downloadable.
Is there a free tier?↓
Yes — generous free workspace for individuals. Paid tiers add storage, more agent calls, team features, and priority support.
How do agents respect my limits?↓
Each agent declares spending and rate limits at install. Anomalies are flagged by Gera Witness. Every action is in your audit log and can be reversed.
Does GeraOS work offline?↓
Local-first where possible — drafts, mail reading, calendar, basic agents work offline. Cloud-only models obviously require connectivity.
How does it integrate with other Gera products?↓
Prime, Skills, Persona, Clone, Witness, and Reach are first-class — install with one click. Any other Gera product (GeraClinic, GeraHome, etc.) is one Nexus call away.
Is GeraOS open source?↓
Core protocols (Nexus, Passport, Witness) are open. The hosted workspace is proprietary. A self-host edition is in beta.
